Bond Dickinson
National law firm Bond Dickinson has appointed Charlie Reid as its new banking and finance partner in its London office. He joins the firm from Norton Rose Fulbright where he was a senior associate. Charlie gained experience in the London office of Morrison & Foerster developing its London banking practice for eight years. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster he qualified with SJ Berwin in 2003 and worked with the firm's media finance team. In his new role, Charlie will strengthen Bond Dickinson's London and national offering and use his international experience to help clients.

Linklaters has appointed Matthew Middleditch as global chairman of its corporate division and Aedamar Comiskey as global head of the corporate division. Matthew is currently the global head of the firm’s corporate division and is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. He's been a partner at the firm since 1990 and has advised on a range of major M&A deals. Meanwhile, Aedamar is a corporate lawyer based in London who has a track record in leading complex public and private M&A transactions. She is the lead relationship partner for a number of the firm’s FTSE100 and FTSE250 clients and has done a number of high-profile M&A deals in the Latin America market.

AXA Investment Managers has appointed John Stainsby as head of UK client group. John will lead the firm's UK distribution efforts across the institutional and wholesale segments. John joins from JP Morgan Asset Management where he spent 16 years, most recently as head of UK institutional business. Prior to this he was head of global equity client portfolio management. Previously, John launched the UK office and led the sales and marketing efforts for emerging market fund manager Lloyd George Management. John also spent 12 years as an analyst and fund manager at Schroders managing equity portfolios.

Jonathan Reed has joined global multi-asset investment manager Cerno Capital as a private client director. He brings over 10 years of experience and industry knowledge to Cerno Capital, having previously worked at HSBC Private Bank, Seven Investment Management and Brown Shipley. In his new role, Jonathan will be actively involved in further expanding the firm's private client base, as well as developing and managing existing client relationships.
