HSBC COMMERCIAL BANKING
HSBC Commercial Banking has appointed Stuart Tait head of commercial banking, Asia-Pacific. He will relocate to Hong Kong from London to take up his new role. Stuart joined HSBC in 1984 and has held various positions in commercial banking, global banking and markets, retail banking and wealth management, risk and HR. His assignments have been in Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East. His most recent role was global head of trade and receivables finance where he provided risk mitigation solutions to meet clients’ trade needs.
CSL
Technology firm CSL has appointed Ed Heale as its new managing director. Ed joins the existing CSL board made up of founder Simon Banks, CEO Phil Hollett and FD David Doble. Ed will be responsible for setting and delivering CSL's business strategy. He will oversee CSL's expansion into other sectors and develop CSL into a full service internet of things company. Ed brings experience of managing and scaling fast growing businesses having previously run the enterprise division at British Telecom. Prior to that, he helped launch and run SME Ventures.
Keller Williams
Retail estate firm Keller Williams has promoted Darryl Jenkins, who joined the firm's UK arm last January as team leader, to UK regional operating principal. In his new role Darryl will continue to drive the growth and expansion of Keller Williams throughout the UK. Cate Dodkin, a property specialist, has also joined the team and taken on the role of team leader for the growing Victoria Market Centre, currently the largest in the UK with over 50 agents. Cate has worked for Foxtons as a senior manager before moving to Spicerhaart where she held roles both as national operations director and Thames Valley regional director.
Howard Kennedy
Carl Asser is joining law firm Howard Kennedy as a partner and head of construction. He joins from Payne Hicks Beach where he was a partner in its real estate practice. Carl has considerable experience in all aspects of construction law, acting for developers, occupiers, project owners, funders, contractors and professional consultants. He has advised on some of London’s highest profile construction projects including the development of One Hyde Park and the refurbishment of the Savoy Hotel. Carl also has experience in advising on large infrastructure projects and acting for banks and financial institutions in relation to struggling assets.
