Alpha Capital Markets
Financial trading company Alpha Capital Markets has announced a new executive team. Muhammad Rasoul has been appointed the new chief executive, Kurt Hoeksema is chief trader and risk officer, and sales duo Roger Hambury and Scott Sandat are heads of global sales. They will join current executive chairman, Tony Afram and chief operating officer Des Grech to make up Alpha’s new executive board.
PKF Littlejohn
Accountancy firm PKF Littlejohn, the London member firm of PKF International, has announced the appointment of three partners from inward investment specialists, Fitzgerald & Law. The team will join PKF Littlejohn on 8 February 2016. Dominic Fiore and Keith Steele are outsourcing partners with particular strength in the inward investment market, especially from the US. Jonathan Boyfield is a tax partner specialising in expatriate and non-domiciled individual private tax issues.
GFT Group
Rob Gibbs has joined GFT, a provider of business, design and technology consulting to the investment banking community, as a principal consultant within the legal, regulatory & compliance team. Prior to GFT, Rob was a director within the wealth management division of UBS, having previously worked at the company in the regulatory policy control team. Before that, he worked at Deutsche Bank. Rob was also a captain in the British Army for over seven years, having obtained qualifications in leadership and management from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
The Ombudsman Association
The Ombudsman Association (OA) has announced the appointment of Donal Galligan as director. Donal previously held the position of secretary of the OA. He joined the association on an interim basis in June 2014, having previously worked in private office and policy roles and has extensive experience of external relations. Prior to joining the OA, Donal helped to set up the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority while at the Department of Trade and Industry and ran the board secretariat at the South East England Development Agency.
Travelers Europe
Aaron Devitt has joined Travelers Europe as chief operating officer. Based in London, Aaron fills the role that was previously held by Matthew Wilson, who was appointed chief executive of Travelers Europe in 2015. He was most recently managing director of commercial insurance for RSA in Scandinavia.
