Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking
Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking has appointed Kelvin Aston as head of its industrial manufacturing business, based in the bank’s London head office. Kelvin has been an executive director involved in the industrial sector for the past 20 years and has over 35 years’ experience within banking, initially at Barclays and subsequently at Santander. David Willis has been appointed deputy head of the bank’s UK consumer industries team, also based in central London. David joins from Santander Global Banking where he was an executive director managing a number of corporate customers in the FTSE 250 space for eight years. Prior to this, David has worked with Nat West/RBS and Scotia Bank. In addition, Stuart Russell has been named head of the bank's UK consumer industries team, working from the bank’s UK head office in central London. Stuart joins from Santander Global Banking where he was managing director of the consumer sector handling a number of customers in the FTSE 250 space in both relationship and leadership capacities. Prior to this he spent 25 years with Barclays finishing as area corporate director for the professional & financial practices team.
Brickendon
John Rowson has joined Brickendon Consulting as commercial and operations director. With more than 20 years’ experience in senior finance, commercial and operational leadership roles, John brings a raft of skills and knowledge to Brickendon. He will focus on day-to-day management of the group’s operations, as well as overseeing team strategy and finance.
Brightcove
Brightcove, a provider of cloud services for video, has announced the appointment of Mark Blair to vice president of EMEA where he will lead the company’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa sales and marketing operations, and will serve as a member of the firm’s executive leadership team. Mark joins the EMEA region following standout success as vice president of Asia-Pacific, where he drove business growth with high-visibility wins in OTT services, as well as with leading brands and enterprises that use video for digital marketing and communications.
Allianz Global Coroprate and Specialty
Dot Cownie will join Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty as global head of HR, based in London. She succeeds Anne Lebel, who has left AGCS to take on a new role at Natixis in Paris, France. Dot joins from Barclays Bank where she was head of organisational development for global operations and investment bank operations & technology.
