Globalwebindex
Supplier of audience insights to the global marketing industry Globalwebindex has announced the appointment of James Scott to the newly created position of chief commercial officer, where he will champion the growth and scalability of the business. James will be responsible for the commercial strategy and development of sales, account growth and customer service activities to drive market share. He will oversee inside sales and mid-market customers current and new, making sure that all functions of the organisation are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives. Sebastian Hedencrona, chief revenue officer, will continue to drive the enterprise division of the company, working closely alongside James. For the past two years James has been scaling the commercial function at Fospha, a marketing technology business which delivers digital attribution.
Grosvenor Britain & Ireland
Grosvenor Britain & Ireland has appointed Cathy Griffiths as a commercial leasing manager for its London estate. Cathy will focus primarily on the business’ office portfolio in Mayfair and Belgravia working with Charles Howard, director of offices, on leasing strategy and transactions covering both existing stock and assets in the development pipeline, including 65 Davies Street, 27 Eccleston Place and 20 Balderton Street. She will also support the office innovation stream, which identifies, filters and tests applications and solutions to assist the business’ office tenants and supports the portfolio’s position as a key business hub. Cathy joins Grosvenor Britain & Ireland from Bluebook, a niche West End office agency practice, and was previously at Deloitte Real Estate. In 2018, Grosvenor announced a £1bn, 10-year investment in its London estate. To address changing pressures and opportunities faced in central London, Grosvenor confirmed it would deliver new and improved office and retail space across its estate.
Secret Escapes
Andy Botha has been appointed chief financial officer at Secret Escapes, the members-only online travel and experiences company. Andy, formerly group chief financial officer at ZPG, has more than 17 years’ experience working with high growth digital, e-commerce and leisure businesses. He is an experienced board level leader, with success in leading operational businesses during periods of high growth. During his three and a half years at ZPG, Andy was instrumental in its growth and responsible for the successful financing and integration of its acquisitions, up until its sale to Silverlake for £2.5bn in May 2018. Andy has also held senior roles at notonthehighstreet.com, Betfair, lastminute.com and Holiday Autos UK.
