Horizon Software
Horizon Software has announced that Sylvain Thieullent has been appointed the new chief executive, while Jean-Marc Delfarguiel, the founder of Horizon, becomes the company’s president. Horizon provides electronic trading solutions and algorithmic technology to the world’s exchanges, banks, brokers and fund managers. Sylvain was previously the EMEA head of electronic trading at Horizon.

EY has appointed five new partners to its UK & Ireland fraud investigation and dispute services team. The new partners will build on this momentum and will help drive growth across the UK practice in a number of areas. David Higginson and Trevor Horwitz will be working with businesses to tackle all forms of financial crime in addition to advising companies that are faced with regulatory investigations and enquiries related to economic sanctions, money laundering and financial misstatements. Eoin O’Reilly has been appointed to head up the data analytics function in Ireland and Melissa Myatt and Richard Abbey have been appointed to lead teams specialising in responding to complex corporate fraud and bribery cases as well as regulatory breaches across multiple jurisdictions. Richard joins the firm from Stroz Friedberg, a global investigations firm, where he led the forensic accounting practice. Prior to this he was the global head of investigations and disputes at risk consultancy firm, Kroll. David, Eoin, Trevor and Melissa have been promoted within their respective areas.
Bryan Cave
International law firm Bryan Cave has announced that associate Ping He has joined the transactions client service group from Dechert. Fluent in Mandarin, Ping practices in the area of corporate law (M&A and equity capital markets). In particular, she has a market focus on China having gained considerable experience of advising clients who are expanding into China from previous commercial and legal roles.
Hornall Anderson
Global branding and design agency Hornall Anderson has announced the appointment of Dan Monteith as managing partner, based in the agency’s London office. Most recently Dan was global provocation director at Elmwood. Dan had a key role in winning a major part of P&G business for the agency.
