Whistl
Whistl, the second largest postal operator in the UK, has appointed Ryan Kinnear as new business manager to lead its expansion in Northern Ireland. Ryan, 40, joins from Neopost and will be based at its depot on Hightown Industrial Estate in Newtownabbey, Belfast, and will be responsible for expanding Whistl’s public and private sector client base.
Source
Kate Dwyer has been promoted to the position of executive director for the UK coverage team of Source, one of the largest providers of exchange traded funds (ETFs) in Europe. Kate joined Source in 2013 and has been primarily focused on private banks and family offices. Her promotion is part of 17 that Source is announcing across Europe. All of the awards are in recognition of individual achievements following another successful year for the firm – in 2015, Source saw assets under management grow 26 per cent. The new promotions build on a number of recent new hires at Source. In September 2015, the firm appointed a five-strong team to service the UK financial advisory market in response to growing demand for ETFs among UK financial advisers.
Invesco Income Growth Trust
Invesco Income Growth Trust has announced the appointment of Mark Dampier as a non-executive director of the company, effective 1 March. Mark has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and is currently head of investment research at Hargreaves Lansdown. He is also a director of Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management and a member of Hargreaves Lansdown executive management committee.
Advent Solutions Management
Advent Solutions Management , the provider of support services for start-ups, entrepreneurs and managing general agents, has announced the appointment of Gemma Arregui as head of operations. Reporting to managing director David Hill, Gemma will be responsible for Advent’s operational service delivery. She will also oversee further development of Advent’s operations platform, to accommodate the company’s growing customer base and range of services. Gemma brings a wealth of business process and operational-systems-management experience to Advent from a variety of industries. In the pharmaceutical industry, she implemented a range of initiatives across Mapi’s business activities. She also worked in the technology sector, restructuring ITPM Consulting’s internal systems and implementing new business processes and procedures to maximise efficiency.
Neuberger Berman
David Rowe has been appointed head of marketing, EMEA, at employee-owned investment manager Neuberger Berman. David has over 17 years’ experience in the asset management industry. He joins from Pimco where he was head of MarComms EMEA since 2012. Previously, he worked at at Threadneedle (now Columbia Threadneedle).
