Accenture
Professional services group Accenture has promoted Joydeep (Joy) Bhattacharya, pictured, to lead the Accenture Interactive business in the UK and Ireland. In addition to his new role, Joy will maintain his existing responsibilities as regional general manager for Fjord, Accenture’s design and innovation unit, in Europe, Africa and Latin America (EALA). With over 15 years’ experience in digital leadership roles for companies including Sapient, he also previously led Accenture Interactive’s financial services group in EALA.
Amundi
Christophe Lemarie has been appointed deputy head of the retail division and head of retail marketing at Amundi Asset Management. Christophe started his career in 1995 as a credit analyst at Credit Lyonnais Americas in New York. In 1997, he moved to asset management, joining the financial engineering team of Credit Lyonnais Asset Management. In 2010, Christophe took over the management of Societe Generale Gestion first as deputy chief executive before being appointed chief exec in 2012. In 2012, he was also appointed head of wealth management and asset preservation solutions for partner networks at Amundi.
Pure Search
Pure Search, the governance search and selection business, has appointed John Dixon, former tax managing partner for EY UK, to lead its new consulting practice. Pure Search Consulting will provide advisory services to professional services firms, in house tax departments of multinational companies, and private equity houses. The initial focus will be on clients who are looking to achieve organisational change through aligning people with strategy, driven by increased and evolving regulation, and corporate requirements for greater transparency and compliance. Charles Ferguson, Pure Search’s UK chief executive, said: “John is a proven business leader with a track record of consistently delivering strategic growth through people and performance. I am exceptionally pleased to have him on board.”
TFT
Independent property and construction consultancy Tuffin Ferraby Taylor (TFT) has announced four promotions and two new members of its team. Mark Day joins TFT Bristol as senior associate in the TFT mechanical and electrical (M+E) team, and Susan Cotterill joins as head of finance based at TFT Guildford. She was previously at education group Explore Learning, and Mark joins from building and property surveyors Malcolm Hollis. Meanwhile, Daniel O’Connor has been promoted to technical partner, based at TFT Guildford and Andrew Ferrznolo, a chartered building surveyor, is promoted to senior associate, based at TFT’s London head office. In addition, Sophie Willetts has been promoted to associate, also based at TFT London, and Jonathan Williams has been promoted to associate within TFT Bristol. Finally, Deborah Brown has been promoted to senior building surveyor at TFT Manchester.
