Clayton Euro Risk
The risk management company has announced the appointment of Konstantine Pastras as client development and strategy director. Pastras specialises in residential mortgage-backed securities. He has previously held various roles at DBRS Ratings, Fitch Ratings and Investec.
Financial Conduct Authority
The regulator has appointed four directors in its supervision division. William Amos was previously an economist at the Bank of England. Nick Poyntz-Wright was formerly head of life insurance at the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Linda Woodall joined the FSA in 2001. And Karina McTeague moves from Lloyds Banking Group.
Turquoise
Robert Barnes has been recruited as chief executive at the financial services group. Barnes specialises in market structures. He was most recently chief executive for equities at UBS Exchange Traded Funds. Prior to that, he was chair of the securities trading committee at the London Investment Banking Association.
Lawrence Graham
The City law firm has hired Judith Gershon as a finance partner. Gershon specialises in real estate finances. She joins from Davenport Lyons, where she was a partner, and she has previously worked in the real estate finance team at Eversheds.
Burberry
The fashion retailer has made two hires. Pascal Perrier, who joined the firm in 2005 from Gucci, has been appointed chief executive for the Asia Pacific region. Andrew Maag has been named chief executive for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He joined Burberry in 2006 from Limited Brands.
VTB Capital
Alex Caramella has joined the financial group as head of international equity structuring. He will be responsible for the development of equity structuring transactions on the global markets. He formerly worked in strategic equity transactions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Arbor Networks
The management and security solutions firm has recruited Colin Gray as vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has previously held senior positions at Network Associates, NetScreen, Ciphertrust and ChangeBase.
