The IT consultancy has announced the appointment of Grant Thomas as head of practice. He joins from Barclaycard, where he was head of business change. Thomas has also previously held senior roles at IBM, PwC, and Accenture.
Nikko Asset Management
Stefanie Drews has been appointed global head of institutional marketing and proposition at the asset management firm. She is relocating to Tokyo from London, where she was most recently global head of key clients and family offices at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management. Drews was also formerly a managing director in Morgan Stanley’s private wealth management business.
PwC
Sam Ward has been appointed hotels leader at the professional services firm. He is a chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, and has worked for hotel owners on pan-European transactions and portfolio asset management reviews.
Axa Investment Managers
David Page has been appointed senior economist in the asset management firm’s research and investment strategy team. He was most recently senior economist at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, where he was responsible for high frequency data forecasts. Page has also held roles at Investec Bank UK and the UK’s Debt Management Office, an agency of the Treasury.
Fieldfisher
The law firm has announced the appointment of Hazel Grant as partner and head of privacy. A data protection lawyer, she joins from Bristows, where she has been a partner since 2009. Grant was previously a partner at Bird & Bird for nine years.

Matt Dede has joined the accountancy, tax and audit firm. He previously worked at Sopher & Co, the tax boutique, where he was part of its media and creative team.
Otkritie Capital
Artem Konchin has been appointed senior research analyst, covering the oil and gas industry, at the financial services firm. He was previously vice president, equity research, at JP Morgan Cazenove, and has also worked at Aton and Unicredit Securities.
