Goodwin Procter
The law firm has appointed Catriona Berman as partner in its real estate capital markets practice in London. She will join from Macfarlanes following completion of her notice period, and advises on a wide range of real estate transactions.
Metro Bank
John Nelson has been appointed head of invoice finance for the bank’s SME finance division. He has 15 years’ experience in asset-based lending, and has led teams at Lloyds Commercial Finance, GE Capital and Royal Bank of Scotland.
SKAGEN Global
Tomas Johansson has been appointed portfolio manager at the fund manager. He previously worked for the Swedish arm of Cevian Capital, where he was part of a team overseeing a concentrated equities portfolio.
RSM
The audit, tax, and advisory network has appointed Anand Selvarajan as European regional leader. He was formerly head of market strategy and client solutions for corporate and institutional banking at RBS, and has also held senior positions at Lloyd’s of London and Merrill Lynch.
Bond Dickinson
Neil Long has been appointed partner in the law firm’s private wealth division. He joins from Howard Kennedy, where he acted for high net worth individuals. Long has over 15 years’ experience in wills, probate and trust law.
Russam GMS
The executive search and interim management firm has appointed Antony Flagg as director of financial services. He joins from Interim Partners, where he was a senior consultant in its financial and professional services practice. Flagg has also held roles at Hamilton Blake, Goodman Masson, Nigel Lynn and Reed.
Axiom Alternative Investments
The asset management company has announced the appointment of Gildas Surry as a senior analyst and partner, overseeing the Axiom Contingent Capital and Axiom European Financial Debt funds. He joins from BNP Paribas, where he was a senior analyst covering European banks. Surry has also held positions at Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, and Lazard Freres.
