Barclays
The bank has announced the hire of Geoff Parry as UK head of global corporates in its trade finance team. He joins from National Australia Bank, where he was head of trade finance for south east Asia. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Standard Chartered and NatWest.
PwC
The professional services firm has appointed Richard Baldwin to its enterprise resilience team. Baldwin founded LINK Associates International, and has worked in the development of crisis and emergency response structures at large companies for the last 27 years.
Franklin Templeton
Rod MacPhee has joined the investment management firm as a research analyst and portfolio manager in its fixed income group. He was most recently a portfolio analyst at Western Asset Management Group.
BTIG
The financial services firm has made three hires. Thomas Smykowski, Mark Perdigao and Craig Fishman all join from ConvergEx.
M&G Investments
David Parsons has joined the investment management firm as an investment specialist in its institutional public debt business. He joins from BlackRock, where he was a senior product strategist.
Triodos Bank
The bank has announced the appointment of Rebecca Pritchard as UK head of business banking. Pritchard has nearly 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector. She was most recently at Grant Thornton in Bristol, where she established its regional government and infrastructure advisory team.
OVS Capital
The European investment manager has recruited Nitin Sharma as an analyst in its investment team. He has previously held various roles at Centaurus and UBS.
Pemberton Greenish
The law firm has appointed two senior associates as partners in its real estate practice. Laura Checkley joined the firm in 2009 from Eversheds. David de Maupeou joined the commercial real estate team from Macfarlanes in 2011.
