The real estate services firm has announced the appointment of Carl Foreman as a partner, and head of UK property and asset management. He joins from Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was a national director.
BlackRock
Mark Wharrier has joined the investment management company’s UK equity team as a director and portfolio manager. He will be co-fund manager of the BlackRock UK Income Fund and the BlackRock Income & Growth Investment Trust. He was most recently at NewSmith asset management, where he was a fund manager and founding member of its UK equity team.
Natixis
The bank has recruited Christopher Lovgren as global head of loan syndication. Lovgren was most recently a managing director at ING Commercial Banking.
Rathbones Unit Trust Management
The asset management business has hired Ben Johnson as associate sales director. He previously worked at Axa Investment Management, where he held a similar role.
VTB Capital
The investment banking arm of VTB Group has appointed Jason Fung as head of Asia financing structuring. Since 2006, Fung has been head of the north Asia and emerging markets financing group at Credit Suisse.
Smith & Williamson
David Cobb and Kevin Stopps have been appointed co-chief executives at the investment management firm. They both joined the company over 25 years’ ago.
Sberbank CIB
The corporate and investment banking business has recruited Nicholas Harwood as head of equity in its global markets division. He joins from UBS Securities, where he was head of equities for Russia.
Savills
The property company has hired Daniel Marsden as a director in its south east residential development sales team. He previously worked at Winkworth.
Puma Investments
James Ramsay has joined the investment company as business development manager. He was previously at Ingenious Media Investments.
