The financial services group has recruited Jeremy Dibb as a senior analyst in its metals & mining equity research team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Dibb was most recently at Canaccord Genuity, where he was a director in its metals and mining research team.
Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets
RBC’s corporate and investment banking arm has made two senior appointments to its global investment banking team. Rob Edwards has over 20 years’ industry experience, and joins as an adviser. He was formerly chairman of metals and mining investment banking at Renaissance Capital. Rob Bailey joins as a director from Nomura, where he was responsible for its European metals and mining team.
Elisabeth Silva has been appointed manager for client development at the multi-currency manager. She was most recently at Frontier Investment Management, where she was a relationship manager. Prior to that, she worked at BNP Paribas Investment Partners.
The wealth management company has made two appointments to its European technology and telecoms investment banking franchise. Xavier Moreels and Nigel Daly bring over 35 years’ industry experience.
Close Brothers Asset Management
The asset management business has appointed two business development directors to its intermediary sales team. Antony Champion was previously head of intermediary sales at HSBC Life. Mark Sofflet joins from Aegon, where he was part of its partnership distribution team.
Tim Skinner has joined the digital media and technology company to lead its enterprise business team in the UK and Ireland. Skinner was most recently at Cisco Systems, where he was sales director.
The investment manager and stock broking boutique has recruited Daryl Grundy as head of investment management. Grundy was previously director and head of sales at Odey Wealth Management. Before that, he worked at Close Brothers Asset Management, where he established its wealth management division for third parties and private clients.
