Catherine Grum has been appointed head of the professional services firm’s family office. She joins from Salamanca Group, where she was head of the private office. Grum has also previously worked as head of wealth advisory, for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, and for the private client department at Allen & Overy between 2003 and 2009.
LLOYDS BANK COMMERCIAL BANKING
The bank has appointed Inci Yalman as managing director within its institutional investors team. She joins after 11 years at Standard Chartered, where she has previously served as European regional head and executive director for public sector and development organisations. Yalman has also held roles at Chase and American Express Bank.
CLYDE & CO
Richard Power has been appointed partner in the law firm’s global arbitration group. He joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner, where he was co-head of international arbitration and head of energy disputes. Power has a focus on cross-border matters in the energy sector.
SOTHEBY’S INTERNATIONAL REALTY
The property company has announced the appointment of Simon Tollit as sales director. He has over 14 years’ experience in the industry, and was most recently partner in Knight Frank’s office in Belgravia. Tollit specialises in the prime central London property market.
BORDIER (UK)
The asset management firm has appointed Paul Kelly as business development manager. He joins from Schroders, where he was an investment sales manager for over 10 years. Kelly has also held positions at MGM Assurance and Royal Life.
LINCOLN PRIVATE INVESTMENT OFFICE
The private investment office has announced the appointments of Ben Stern and Stephen Kattou from Barclays Wealth. Stern was a senior director there, and was also a member of its UK investment commitee. He has 17 years’ experience in the wealth management industry. Kattou was a private banker in Barclays Wealth’s UK division, where he was responsible for a high net worth client base for the past seven years.
