City Moves for 25 November 2014 | Who’s switching jobs

Lambert Smith Hampton

Caroline Waldron has been appointed senior surveyor in the commercial property consultancy’s London office agency team. She joins from JLL, where her clients included Fidelity Investments, Threadneedle Investments and Mercer Real Estate.

BNP Paribas Securities Services

The custodian has announced three senior appointments to its assets and funds services team in London. Blair McPherson becomes regional head of global custody product. He previously spent 11 years at RBC Investor Services. Paul Cocklin joins as product manager for global custody from JP Morgan, where he held a similar role. Finally, Mark Schoen joins as global head of solutions for the pensions, insurance and sovereign wealth segments. He was formerly head of product development for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Northern Trust.

BlueBay Asset Management

The fixed income and alternative investment firm has appointed Andrew Archer as partner and chief technology officer. He joins from Man Group, where he was global head of technology. Archer has also previously held roles at GLG Partners.


Chris Barrow has been appointed head of business development at the multi asset class service provider for investors. He joins from HSBC, where he was most recently managing director and global head of sales and marketing for prime finance.

20 Essex Street

James Huckle has been appointed director of strategic development at the commercial chambers. He joins on 5 January 2015 from Holman Fenwick Willan, where he is currently commercial director.

Winckworth Sherwood

Katie Spooner has been appointed senior associate in the law firm’s family team. She joins from Child & Child, where she led its family team. Spooner also previously held roles at Mischon de Reya.

Renaissance Capital

Dmitry Gladkov has been appointed managing director and head of debt capital markets products at the emerging and frontier markets investment bank. He was formerly head of debt capital markets for Russia and Ukraine at JP Morgan.
