Towergate Insurance
Towergate Insurance has appointed Neil Pearce as managing director of Towergate London Market. Neil will join Towergate in September this year and will report directly to group chief executive David Ross. He joins Towergate from RKH Specialty where he was executive director responsible for the UK and international liability team. He was previously managing director of Windsor Insurance Brokers for 20 years and executive director of SBJ Marine and Energy. In his new role, Neil will be responsible for accelerating Towergate Insurance’s growth in London.
EY
EY has appointed Pamela Spence to the role of global life sciences industry leader to its global life sciences sector practice. Pamela assumes her new role with nearly 20 years’ experience working with clients across the life sciences and health care sectors. Since joining EY in 1998, she has held leadership positions in transaction advisory services within the health sciences and technology sectors. During this time she led multinational transactions, acquisitions, disposals and IPOs, in addition to holding roles in business development with a focus on the life sciences sector. Prior to this appointment, Pamela was the global lead partner for some of EY’s largest multinational life sciences clients.
Cordium
Cordium, a provider of governance, risk and compliance services, has appointed Doug Morgan as group chief executive. Doug assumes the leadership of Cordium’s executive team and will initially be based in the US before relocating full-time to the UK. Doug has 20 years’ experience in the financial services and technology sectors. He joins Cordium from SunGard, where he had global responsibility for the company’s business in the asset management back office servicing and accounting space, consisting of solutions for investment accounting, mutual fund shareholder reporting, investor servicing, and financial reporting.
Grey London
Wayne Brow, currently MD of GreyPOSSIBLE, has been appointed to the new role of COO of advertising agency Grey London. Wayne joined Grey London to launch GreyPOSSIBLE, a joint venture with WPP’s largest digital business, Possible. In the new role of COO, he will focus on acquisitions to continue to diversify Grey London’s offer, especially in the areas of tech, data, entertainment and media. He will also further build the bond between GreyPOSSIBLE and other group companies, including GreyShopper and GreyWorks, the agency’s other marketing arms.
