The investment management company has hired Gill Roantree as chief operating officer. She joins from Schroder Property, where she was head of investment support.
Towers Watson
The professional services business has appointed Scott Robinson as UK head of its life insurance practice. He joined in 1997, and was most recently head of its Manchester risk consulting and software practice.
ING Investment Management
The investment management business has made two appointments to its high dividend divisions. Moudy El Khodr joins as senior portfolio manager for the US High Dividend strategy. He was most recently at Petercam, where he managed its North America Equity Dividend strategy. Kris Hermie joins as senior portfolio manager for the Global High Dividend strategy.
Canada Life
The assurance company has appointed Douglas Brown as UK division chief executive. He joined in 2012 as UK chief operating officer from Aviva Europe, where he was chief risk officer.
Standard Chartered
The bank has announced the appointment of Tom Willett as global head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He joined in 2012 as head of M&A for Europe. Prior to that, Willett was chairman of corporate finance for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and global head of M&A, at RBS.
DAC Beachcroft
The law firm has appointed three partners to its national claims validation team. Miles Hepworth joins from Keoghs, where he was a partner. Claire Newcombe previously held roles at Andersons Solicitors. Dan Prince joined DAC Beachcroft in 2004.
Baker Tilly
Martin Rossiter has joined the business advisory firm’s Guildford office as managing partner. He has over 20 years’ experience advising owner-managed businesses in the region. Rossiter previously held roles at Deloitte & Touche.
Salamanca Group
The merchant banking and operational risk management business has hired Craig Hallam as head of property services. He joins from LSL Property Services, where he was responsible for developing corporate relationships. Prior to that, Hallam was a business development director at Hometrack.
