Societe Generale
Societe Generale has appointed Carlos Goncalves as head of global technology services. He replaces Bertrand Lemarignier who will take up a new position within the group. Carlos started his career in the research and development team of Portugal Telecom before joining Societe Generale in 1993 as part of the IT department. Carlos was initially in charge of the Treasury Management System, before contributing to the conception and development of a major trading program and becoming head of the team in 1997. In 2007, he was appointed global head of technology for equities derivatives, and, from 2009, deputy global chief information officer for SG CIB. In 2011, he became global chief information officer for SG CIB. Since 2013, Carlos has been global chief information officer for the global banking and investor solutions division.
Bond Dickinson
Bond Dickinson has appointed Michelle Chance as its new employment partner to head up its London employment practice. Michelle is an experienced employment specialist with a strong track record in the delivery of contentious employment work across a number of sectors including financial services, insurance, professional services and the media. Michelle joins the firm from Kingsley Napley where she was head of the cross-departmental partnership practice. She acts for SME & PLC employers as well as high profile senior executives, celebrities and those in the media in complex and sensitive employment and partnership matters, often involving discrimination issues. The firm also recently appointed banking partner, Charlie Reid, and charities partner, Jo Coleman, to its London office.
Lombard Risk
Lombard Risk Management has appointed Adam Husted as business development manager for EMEA. Adam’s new role will see him building the client base (ncluding investment banks, asset managers, building societies and pensions schemes for the firm's collateral management software and its regulatory compliance systems in the UK and Europe. Adam joins from Tesco Pension Investment where he was a consultant and project manager advising on issues arising from European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) and the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR). Previously he has also worked at Chicago Mercantile Exchange as head of clearing, insight investment as consultant and project manager, and Barclays Investment Bank as European head of product development for OTC clearing.
Qube Global Software
Colin O’Reilly has joined City-based property software company Qube Global Software as sales director, bringing with him 27 years’ experience in the property software market. Colin has worked for large US companies for the past 10 years, including his previous roles as regional sales director for Yardi Systems and EMEA sales director for MRI real estate solutions. Prior to that he was part of the management team for property management software specialist Fraser Williams, which was purchased by Qube Global Software in 2005. In his new role, Colin will be responsible for attaining new strategic accounts.
