The insurance company has appointed David Bramall as head of placement in its national corporate practice. He joined in 2008 as a casualty broker from Willis, where he was also a casualty broker.
Lloyds Bank
The bank has announced the appointment of Nigel Brady as a director for sterling financials trading in its commercial banking division. He was most recently at Citigroup, where he was responsible for building its eurosterling business. Brady was also formerly a director for credit trading at HSBC, and a senior trader at BNP Paribas.
Kleinwort Benson
The private bank has hired Simon Rees as head of its trustees business. He was formerly at New Quadrant Partners, where he was a director of trust services. Rees has advised private clients and trustees for over 30 years, and has previously held roles at PwC, Ernst & Young and PwC.
Accel Partners
Fred Destin has joined the venture capital firm as a partner. He has been investing in technology startups for 14 years, and was most recently at Atlas Venture.
FRP Advisory
The specialist restructuring and advisory firm has appointed Arvindar Singh-Sall as a director in its Birmingham office. She has over 20 years’ experience advising and managing business restructurings. Singh-Sall was most recently at Moore Stephens, where she managed its Birmingham corporate recovery team. Prior to that, she spent 10 years at PwC.
NAPF
The National Association of Pension Funds has appointed Jackie Wells as head of policy and research, and Alison Binks as head of business development. Wells previously led consultancy projects for the Financial Conduct Authority. Binks joins from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, where she led its business development team.
Redrow London
The property business hired Mark Elson joins as a finance director. He was formerly a commercial finance manager at Ballymore.
