The specialist insurance recruiter has appointed Stewart Taylor as head of business and market development. He was founder of insurance search firm Hermes People, and also previously spent 10 years at McGregor Boyall as director of its banking and capital markets division.
BDO
Nicole Martin has been appointed audit partner in the accountancy and business advisory firm’s technology and media practice. She joins after 20 years at KPMG, where she qualified in 1995 and was promoted to director in 2007.
Dunedin
The mid-market private equity firm has announced the appointment of two analysts to its investment team. Sophie Chambers and Katie Chung will both join the origination team, focused on identifying and assessing new investment opportunities. In addition, Oliver Bevan has been promoted to partner and Karan Darroch to finance and operations manager. Bevan joined in 2007. Darroch joined from KPMG two years ago.
BLP
The law firm has appointed Robin Ganguly as senior associate within its litigation and dispute resolution practice. He joins from Linklaters, where he was managing associate within its litigation department. Ganguly has previously had secondments at Barclays Capital and Credit Suisse.
Old Mutual Wealth
The wealth management firm has announced the appointments of Russell Bignall and Sean Mcguire as business development directors. Bignall was most recently strategic director at BNY Mellon, and has also held roles at Standard Life. Mcguire joins from Standard Life, where he was investment sales director in the Middle East.
Ropes & Gray
Thomas Ross has been appointed commercial litigation partner at the law firm in London. He joins its business and securities litigation practice from K&L Gates, and has also previously spent 10 years at Slaughter & May.
FTI Consulting
Lester Pereira has been appointed managing director in the business advisory firm’s governance, risk and regulation practice. He joins from the FCA, where he was acting manager in the investment banks supervision team. He has also held roles in banking.
