HSBC
HSBC UK has appointed Chloe Clift as head of its professional services sector team. In her new role, Chloe will work with HSBC UK commercial customers across the legal, recruitment, accountancy and consultancy sectors, offering banking support and strategic advice. The Professional Services sector team supports UK-based Relationship Managers and their clients, from small domestic businesses to large scale multi-nationals. Chloe has been with HSBC for eight years, working across the UK, USA and United Arab Emirates, and is part of HSBC’s international management programme. she was most recently a global relationship director in HSBC UK’s large corporate team, based in London.Chloe replaces Simon Adcock, who has taken the role of general manager and commercial banking country head of HSBC Oman.
Carwow
Carwow, the online solution to connecting customers to their next car through its strong network of dealerships, has hired Charlotte Tice to become its first head of media partnerships. Charlotte is one of the leading figures in digital marketing and media, having previously been head of marketing & client service at Hearst Live, where she was part of the team who saw revenues double in 2018. Prior to joining Hearst Live, Charlotte spent ten years at Mindshare UK, where she was head of digital & publishing. In that role, Charlotte was the driving force behind the company’s creation of the combined digital display & publishing media investment team. Charlotte will be joining Carwow to consolidate and expand the company’s relationships with media agencies and to position the fast-growth tech business as a leading producer of automotive content across all platforms.
The PRS Reit
The PRS Reit has announced the appointment of Jim Prower as a non-executive director with effect from 20 May 2019. Jim, a chartered accountant, has over 30 years of experience in senior financial roles. For the major part of his career he was group finance director at Argent Group, then finance partner of Argent Services and Argent Investments. Jim was involved in major development and regeneration projects in Manchester, Birmingham and the City of London, and from 2008 to 2015 he worked on the King’s Cross Central joint venture. Prior to that, he was group finance director at Creston Land & Estates, and at Nobo Group. Jim is currently senior independent director at Empiric Student Property and a non-executive director at AEW UK Long Lease Reit. In addition until March 2019, Jim was senior independent director at Tritax Big Box.
