Broadwalk Asset Management
Mark Shepperd will join the asset management firm as a senior analyst. He was most recently a senior adviser in the investment banking division at UBS, and previously spent 20 years running its support services team

The African commodities investment firm has appointed Georgina Fleming to oversee product management and development. Fleming was most recently a business development coordinator at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York.
Barclays
The bank has appointed Nicki Thomson as head of business services for corporate banking. She has been working at Barclays for over six years, and will replace Mike Daniels, who has been promoted to head of London, corporate banking.
KPMG
The professional services firm has appointed two new directors to its economics and regulation advisory team to focus on the energies and utilities sector. Duncan Michie most recently led the utilities regulatory consulting team at PwC. Adrian Leaker has over 20 years’ experience working in energy markets in the UK and Europe. He also joins from PwC.
LaSalle
The investment management firm has announced the appointment of Elisabeth Stheeman as global chief operating officer. She was most recently at Morgan Stanley in London, where she was chief operating officer in its investment banking division focused on real estate and natural resources.
The Ashton Partnership
Nick Aitchison will join the executive search firm as a partner. Aitchison will be responsible for developing the firm’s client relationships in the UK and emerging markets. He began his search career at Russell Reynolds Associates, where he was managing director. He was most recently a partner at Stork & May.
Grainger
Sebastian Cave will join the property company as joint managing director in its German office. He was most recently director of corporate development at Grainger in London, and has previously worked as an analyst at Deutsche Bank.
