Davenport Lyons
Gavin Llewellyn has joined the law firm as a partner in its intellectual property team. He previously worked at Berwin Leighton Paisner, where he was an associate director.
Brooks Macdonald Asset Management
The private client investment manager has appointed Lisa Brown as intermediary sales manager in its business development team. Prior to joining Brooks Macdonald in April, Brown spent five years at Octopus Investments, where she was a strategic partnerships manager.
Royal Bank of Canada Wealth Management
The bank’s wealth management arm has made two hires. Sarah Hunter and Victoria Riding both join as directors in its London-based credit team. Riding was most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she was a director for international credit and banking. Hunter previously worked at HMV Group, where she was its in-house legal counsel.
Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management
Sean Taylor has joined the asset management firm as head of emerging market equities. He most recently worked at Pioneer Investments, where he was head of global emerging market equity. Prior to that, Taylor held various roles at Societe Generale Asset Management UK, GAM, and James Capel Investment Management.
IBB Solicitors
The law firm has recruited Dr Christopher Hayes as a partner in its corporate and commercial team. He joins from Palmyra Chambers, where he specialised in intellectual property.
