Wike Groenenberg has been appointed global head of emerging markets strategy at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking. She was previously head of strategy for BlueBay Asset Management’s emerging markets macro fund. Groenenberg has also headed emerging market strategy at Citigroup in London, managing a team of strategists in Europe, South Africa and Asia.

The construction and development company has announced two appointments. Simon Tuddenham joins as development director from Colliers International, where he was a director in its development consulting and agency team. Isabel Simon joins as communications lead.
GATEHOUSE BANK
Trevor Homes has been appointed head of real estate finance at the London-based investment bank specialising in shariah-compliant products and services. He joins from ICG Longbow, where he was a partner. Homes has also held senior roles at UniCredit and Deutsche Bank.
NN INVESTMENT PARTNERS
The asset management firm has appointed Kees-Jan van de Kamp to its infrastructure and project finance team. He joins from NIBC Bank, where he spent the last 14 years in infrastructure and corporate finance across Europe.
PINSENT MASONS
The law firm has announced the appointment of telecoms specialist Reg Dhanjal as partner. He joins from DAC Beachcroft, where he became a partner in 2012. Dhanjal worked in-house at T-Mobile (now EE) between 2002 and 2010.
A-PLAN INSURANCE
Jonathan Hartley has been appointed acquisitions manager at the insurance brokers. He joins from Swinton Insurance, where he worked on the business’s acquisitions strategy for the past 12 years.
MARSH & PARSONS
The property consultancy has appointed David Duke to the newly-created role of director of residential development. He joins from Strutt & Parker, and has also held roles at Savills.
CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS
The airline has announced the appointment of Neil Glenn as general manager, Europe. He was most recently managing director of Swire Pacific Offshore Operations in Singapore. Glenn has also held positions at John Swire and Sons, Kalari Transport, and Hong Kong Aero Engine.
GRIFFIN MARKETS
The OTC energy platform operator has announced the appointment of Richard Wilson to head up its cross-commodity options desk. He has 22 years’ experience in the broking industry, and most recently worked at Schnieder Trading. Wilson spent 20 years at Tullett Prebon, where he was director of emissions, coal, nuclear fuel and insurance-linked securities.
