Lee Baron
Lee Baron, a specialist in property management, has appointed Steven Room as head of residential development. With over 30 years’ experience in the property sector, Steven has worked directly with a range of housebuilder, developers, landlords, investors and property managers at firms such as Kinleigh Folkard & Haywards, County Estate Management, Haywards, The Hercules Group, Mount Street Holdings, and most recently, FirstPort Property Services. Steven has particular expertise in large mixed-use schemes, the private rental sector and build-to-rent market.
Aldermore
Aldermore, the specialist lender and savings bank, has made several new appointments to its business finance risk management. Jerry Barrie has been appointed as head of asset management. In his new role, Jerry assumes responsibility for the monitoring and evaluation of the bank’s asset finance portfolio and collateral. Prior to joining Aldermore, Jeremy worked in asset management at CIT Vendor Finance, a commercial and business finance provider. In his 26-year career, Jerry has also worked in asset management roles at Barclays Asset Finance and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Paul Buckland has been appointed head of In Life Credit; David Fabia as the head of Flow Credit, assuming responsibility for the proposal management, know your customer and flow credit underwriting teams; and Eamon Foley as interim head of analytics and policy.
Investec
Investec Investment Banking has appointed Jonathan Wolf as a director in its oil and gas team. With over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Jonathan joins from Scotiabank, where he was a key figure in the oil and gas team for twelve years. At Scotiabank, he specialised in originating, negotiating and executing primarily upstream acquisition and disposal mandates around the world. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Jonathan worked at Gaffney Cline & Associates as a senior consultant providing technical geoscience, commercial and project management services to oil and gas companies, national oil companies (NOC), investment banks and governmental agencies.
Cushman & Wakefield
Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Clive Tydeman to set up the new infrastructure for its EMEA business’ asset services operations. Clive, who has 20 years’ experience managing major transformation projects most recently as CBRE’s head of operations for asset services in EMEA, will ensure Cushman & Wakefield clients are provided with the optimum service.
