Chris Cooper has been elected president of the Management Consultancies Association. He is currently head of Challenge Consulting. Cooper has previously held positions at BDO and OASiS.
Nikko Asset Management
The asset management firm has announced the appointment of Al Clark as global head of multi-asset. Clark has over 20 years’ experience in trading and portfolio management, and has held roles at Macquarie Funds Management, BT Financial Group and most recently Schroder Investment Management, where he was responsible for its multi-asset business in Asia-Pacific.
Towers Watson
The professional services company has hired Jo Kite as head of its pensions and benefits practice in Scotland. She has previously worked at Aviva and Standard Life, where she was director of workplace proposition.
Hermes Fund Managers
Jennifer Stillman has joined Hermes Fund Managers as director for consultant relations. She was most recently at Nightscape Capital, where she was head of business development. Stillman has also worked at Caliburn Capital, Man Investments, and PanAgora Asset Management.
Euler Hermes
The corporate surety bond provider has announced the appointment of James Price as an underwriter in its bond underwriting team. He was formerly a consultant at Cornwallis Elt.
Moore Stephens
The accountancy firm has hired Gareth Moore as a senior manager in its insurance industry group. He has over 15 years’ experience as an IT auditor, and was formerly at QBE internal audit, where he worked on IT infrastructure and project assurance.
Virgin Media
Mine Hifzi has joined Virgin Media as general counsel. She was previously senior vice president of commercial and legal affairs at Scripps Networks Interactive. Before that, Hifzi held senior positions at Turner Broadcasting Systems.
