Peter Lynch has been appointed UK oil and gas analyst at the investment intelligence firm. He joins from Tell Investments. Lynch has also previously held positions at Citigroup, where he was a sell-side analyst, Merrill Lynch, and Arthur Andersen.
Utilyx
The energy consultancy has appointed George Pitt as finance director. He joins from Centrica, where he was head of commercial for British Gas’s corporate supply business. Pitt has 13 years’ experience in the industry, and has also held positions at Shell.
Thomas Miller Investment
Andrew Herberts has been appointed head of private investment management UK at the asset management firm. He joined in 2012 from Adam & Company, and is responsible for the firm’s private investment management onshore business.
Charles Taylor
Richard Yerbury has been appointed performance and strategy director at Charles Taylor Management Services. He joins from Bain & Company, where he was a principal in the financial services team. Prior to that, Yerbury was a managing director at Lloyds Banking Group, and he has also held positions at Marakon Associates.
Rouse
The intellectual property law firm has announced three partner promotions in its London office. Rebecca Baines, part of the dispute resolution team, joined Rouse in 2005. Nicole Jadeja joined in 2008 and has worked as a litigator, specialising in patent litigation for clients in the life sciences sector. Jason Rutt, head of UK patents at Rouse, joined in 2012 from Pfizer, where he was head of its UK patent department.
Duet Group
The alternative asset manager has appointed Matthew Vogel as senior research adviser to the Duet Frontier Fund. He was previously head of emerging markets EMEA research at Barclays. Vogel has also held senior roles at Merrill Lynch, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and he started his career at the World Bank.
Mount Anvil
The Central London residential property developer has appointed Martin Ratchford as group finance director. He started his career at Arthur Andersen, and has since held senior finance positions at British Land, Unite, and in privately-owned property businesses.
