CBRE, the world's leading real estate adviser, has appointed Lorraine Hughes as a senior director in the UK planning team, based in London. Lorraine joins the firm from Turley. Lorraine specialises in providing commercial planning advice on large and complex central London projects. She has extensive experience advising both private and public sector clients across a range of sectors, advising on all aspects of planning, from appraisals on site potential through to securing permissions. Lorraine has been involved in some of London’s most important projects, including advising Crossrail on optimising the development potential of its Over Site Development Sites across London and advising in relation to the major extension to the Canary Wharf estate.
Delta Financial Systems
Delta Financial Systems, a pensions and retirement administration technology provider, has appointed John Watson as its new chief financial officer. John has strong financial services experience, having been UK group finance director for IFG Group from 2000 to 2015, during which he helped lead the acquisition of James Hay from Santander. John sat as finance director for all of the group’s regulated businesses, including James Hay and the prestigious City-based IFA Saunderson House. He was most recently chief operating officer for the regulated part of Equiniti, including Selftrade.
The UK savings bank, RCI Bank, has appointed Jean-Louis Labauge as CEO. Based at RCI Bank's head office in Watford, Jean-Louis will be responsible for 265 employees in the UK across all the RCI, Renault, Nissan, Dacia and Infiniti finance brands. He has worked with RCI Bank and Services Group for 20 years and takes up his new position having previously held the role of deputy managing director in the UK. He joined the UK team from India, where he launched the group’s Indian financial services business in 2013 and oversaw tremendous growth as managing director.
Capital & Counties Properties
Capital & Counties Properties has appointed Situl Jobanputra as chief financial officer with effect from 1 January 2017. This follows the resignation of Soumen Das as managing director and chief financial officer announced in July this year. The responsibility for the oversight of Covent Garden will revert to Ian Hawksworth, chief executive of Capco, with immediate effect. Situl is an experienced corporate financier having led Deutsche Bank's UK real estate investment banking team before joining Capco in January 2014 to provide support on corporate finance and capital markets and to oversee the finance functions at Earls Court and Lillie Square.
