Axa Assistance UK
The assistance services firm has announced the appointment of Anthony Bradley as chief financial officer. He joined Axa Assistance UK in 2002, and has served as underwriting analyst, senior finance analyst, financial controller, and most recently as deputy chief financial officer.
Covington & Burling
The law firm has announced the appointment of Alex Leitch as a partner in its London office. He is a solicitor advocate and advises and represents parties in complex, high value and high profile international disputes. Leitch became a partner at King & Wood Mallesons (then SJ Berwin) in 2000.
Faegre Baker Daniels
The law firm has announced two hires to its real estate and corporate practices. Petar Orlic joins as a partner from McGuireWoods. His practice focuses on commercial acquisitions and real estate finance both domestically and internationally. Josip Stajfer joins the corporate team as an associate, also from McGuireWoods.
Force Over Mass Capital
The specialist technology startup fund has announced the appointment of Lee McSorley as chief technology officer. He was previously a quantitative developer at OTAS Technologies, and has also held positions at Integral Capital Management, Caliburn Capital Partners, and Howells Associates.
OpenLink
The energy, commodities, and treasury trading systems provider has announced two appointments to its metals team. Sanket Kulkarni joins as a senior metals consultant. He was previously a senior consultant at Triple Point Technology, and has also held roles at R Systems, Yes Bank, and ABN Amro. Charly Shungu joins as a metals consultant. He previously worked in JP Morgan’s precious and base metals division, and has also held roles at Barclays.
Gunnercooke
The corporate law firm has announced the appointment of two senior partners. Fiona Dillon has previously headed up the wills, trusts, and tax departments at Keoghs, Pannone and JMW, among others. Katerina Nomikou worked at EY, PwC, and KPMG for approximately 12 years, before becoming a general counsel at an investment bank in 2003. Nomikou has since worked for law firms in London and Athens.
