The law firm has recruited James Ward as a partner in its private client team. He was most recently at Lee Bolton Monier-Williams, where he was a partner in its private client division.
HSBC Private Bank
The private bank has made two senior appointments. Paul O’Donnell joins as head of UK domestic. He has over 25 years’ experience in the wealth management industry, and was previously head of private banking at EFG. Charles Boulton has been appointed as global market head for UK international. He joined HSBC in 2006 from the Bank of Bermuda.
Brit Group
The insurance company has appointed three senior underwriters. David Hancock joins as head of UK property. He has previously held underwriting management roles at Norwich Union Insurance and Zurich. Andy Camber and Andrew Ravenscroft join as class underwriters from Amlin.
Santander Asset Management
The asset management business has hired Adam Harnetty as head of credit research for European fixed income. He has over 25 years’ industry experience, and has previously held roles at Schroders, Invesco, Kleinwort Benson and EY.
Linklaters
Marc Harvey has been appointed regional managing partner, Asia at the law firm. Harvey has been a partner since 2000, and is currently head of the firm’s greater China and global litigation and arbitration practices.
Puma Investments
The asset management company has recruited Parik Chandra as an investment manager. He was most recently at Barclays, where he was a director in its real estate restructuring team.
JC Rathbone Associates
Jonathan Dwyer has joined the risk management and debt advisory firm as a director. He was previously head of private finance at the Homes and Communities Agency.
Thesis Asset Management
The asset management firm has hired James Nield as investment manager. He joins from Oriel Securities, where he was a partner. Prior to that, Nield covered UK equities at Royal Bank of Canada.
