The professional services firm has announced the appointment of Patrick Figgis as global health industries leader. Figgis is a chartered accountant and has spent his career at PwC advising global and local organisations.

Mark Esner has joined the bank’s Manchester office as wealth manager. Esner has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He began his career in the tax division at Arthur Anderson, and has since held investment advisory roles at Quilter, Deloitte, and Barclays Wealth.
BLM
The insurance and dispute resolution law firm has recruited Nick Gibbons as a partner in its technology, media and telecommunications practice. Gibbons specialises in contentious and non-contentious IT including cyber risks. He joins from Ince, where he was a partner.
M&G Investments
The institutional investment firm has made two new hires. David Sheppard-Burgess and Luke Staddon join as associate directors to assist in the origination and execution of loans. Sheppard-Burgess was most recently an associate director in the leverage and high-yield origination team at Lloyds Bank. Staddon joins from Ernst & Young’s corporate finance division, where he has worked since 2007.

The software company has made two appointments. Loren Weinberg Jarrett will join as chief marketing officer. She was previously a vice president at American Express. Prior to that, she was vice president of product management at Oracle. Brian Murphy was formerly vice president for software and services verticles at NetSuite.
DriveStyle Insure
Andrew Bennett has joined the insurance company as chief executive. He was most recently broker sales manager at Allianz.
BNP Paribas Securities Services
The investment custodian has hired Gyorgy Cselenyi as head of its Hungary office. He was most recently at BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Bank. Prior to that, he held various trading roles at the Hungarian Foreign Trade Bank.
