The specialist investment manager has appointed David Winborne as senior portfolio manager. He was previously a member of the in-house asset management team at Tesco Pension Investment. Winborne has also previously worked at Sarasin & Partners and Insight Investment Management.
AVIVA INVESTORS
John Osborn has been appointed real estate fund manager at Aviva’s asset management business, where his responsibilities will include the Aviva Linked Property fund. He has over 25 years’ experience in real estate and joins from Axa Real Estate, where he spent 15 years as a senior fund manager. Osborn has also held positions at Abbey Life and Hill Samuel.
LEGATUM INSTITUTE
The charity and think tank has appointed Alexandra Mousavizadeh as director of indices. She has previously worked as chief executive of ARC Ratings, an emerging markets-based ratings agency, assistant vice president of the Africa sovereign ratings portfolio at Moody’s Investors Service, and as head of country risk management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Morgan Stanley.

The executive search firm has appointed Mark Soden as managing director for its technology, media and telecoms practice. He has over 20 years’ experience in the technology sector, and joins from Boyden Executive Search, where he was a partner. Soden has also held senior roles at Spengler Fox.
DAVY ASSET MANAGEMENT
The asset management firm has appointed Doug Gordon as head of European distribution. He joins from Threadneedle Investments, where he was sales director, overseeing global banks, fund managers and stockbrokers. Gordon has also held roles at Morley Fund Management and HSBC Asset Management.

The law firm has appointed Stuart Fleet to its London corporate team. He joins from Kaye Scholer. Fleet has particular experience in UK and cross border transactions, equity financings and restructurings, and specialises in public takeovers, IPOs, secondary issues, M&A, joint ventures and venture capital.
VSA CAPITAL
Daniela Amihood has been appointed director in the corporate finance team at the natural resources focused investment bank. She previously worked at Fox Davies Capital, focusing on corporate finance in the natural resources sector. Amihood also previously spent eight years working as a solicitor.
