The law firm has announced the appointment of Hiroshi Sheraton as a partner in its intellectual property (IP) practice group, and global pharmaceutical and healthcare industry group. He was most recently at McDermott Will & Emery, where he was a partner and co-head of its IP practice.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has appointed Matthew Howell as managing director for the UK and Ireland. He was previously head of marketing at RSM Tenon, and head of marketing for consulting UK at Deloitte.

Andrew Henderson has been appointed partner in the law firm’s City financial institutions group. Henderson was most recently at Ropes & Grey, where he was counsel.

Nick Blogg has joined the wealth management firm as an investment manager. He was formerly a wealth manager on the Americas desk at Coutts, where he ran a portfolio of high-net worth and ultra high-net worth clients. Prior to that, he worked at Deloitte Private Client Services.

The pensions company has hired Charles Goodman as a pension consultant. He was most recently at Grant Thornton, where he was a pensions, auto-enrolment and flexible benefits executive in its employee benefits consultancy team.

The law firm has appointed Nick McCarthy as a partner in its corporate and commercial team. He has over 10 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer, and joins from Fox Williams.

Joe Stelzer has been appointed managing partner at the mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. He joined in 2010 from Silver Cloud Capital.

The asset management firm has hired Shaun Taulbut as head of administration. Taulbut has previously held roles at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group and Standard Chartered.
