The commercial property investment manager has hired Philip Gadsden as managing partner. He was formerly international director at LaSalle Investment Management, and deputy chief executive at Invista Real Estate Investment Management.
Allen & Overy
The law firm has appointed Stephen Lloyd as a private equity partner in its London corporate group. He was previously at Ashurst, where he was global head of corporate from 2012.
Syntaxis
The finance provider has recruited Rupert Coull to head its environmental, social and governance policy. He has previously held various roles at Cazenove and Merrill Lynch.
Colliers International
Martin Taylor has joined the property company as a partner in its national investment team. He has 20 years’ experience in the UK commercial investment and development markets. Taylor was formerly director of Pickmere Properties. Before that, he was a development director at Barwood Developments.
Global Financial Markets Association
The trade association has hired David Strongin as executive director. He is currently managing director at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
Ashurst
Simon Beddow has been appointed co-head of the law firm’s global corporate, commercial and competition division. He became a partner at the firm in 1998, and was most recently European managing partner of corporate.
Pramerica Real Estate Investors
The real estate investment firm has promoted Philip Barrett to global chief investment risk officer. He joined Pramerica in 1999 from Arthur Andersen.
The Social Stock Exchange
The UK Social Stock Exchange has recruited Tomas Carruthers as chief executive. Carruthers founded Capital Accumulation in 2003, and was formerly chief executive at Interactive Investor.
