The outsourcing and technology firm has appointed Simon Moorhead as global chief information officer. He joins from the Bank of England, where he was chief information officer. Moorhead has also held roles at Reuters, Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini and HSBC.
Coutts
Arne Hassel has been appointed head of investments at the private bank. He was most recently co-head of multi-asset allocation at the Universities Superannuation Scheme. Hassel has also held senior positions at Millennium Global Investments, and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Investec Specialist Bank
Tim Howson has joined the bank’s specialist corporate capital team from Jefferies, where he was senior vice president in its leveraged finance team. Howson has also worked in leveraged finance at UBS Investment Bank and at Barclays.
PineBridge Investments
The asset management firm has appointed Mandy Adamou as senior vice president responsible for global consultant relations. She has over 20 years’ industry experience, and previously managed Amundi Asset Management’s global consultancy business. Adamou has also held client-facing roles at Aegon Asset Management, Wellington Management, and Morley Fund Management.
Pinsent Masons
The law firm has appointed Michael Ruck as a senior lawyer in its corporate crime team. He joins from the FCA’s enforcement division, where he was involved in investigations into the mis-selling of financial products and systems, illegal trades, fraud, and general breaches of regulatory requirements.
BNP Paribas Real Estate
Sebastien Racine has been appointed finance director at BNP Paribas’s specialist property division. He most recently led the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) finance teams at Brookfield Residential Property Services, and also previously served as vice-president of finance and strategic planning, EMEA at Prudential Real Estate & Relocation Services.
Octopus Investments
Debu Purkayastha has been appointed entrepreneur-in-residence at the fund management firm. He previously worked at Google, where he held senior roles in its M&A, investments and new business development teams.
