CBRE
The commercial real estate services firm has appointed Oliver Segal as an associate director in its Central London lease consultancy team. He joins from Capita Property and Infrastructure, where he has worked since 2006, working on landlord and tenant, asset and portfolio management.
Sarasin & Partners
The asset manager has appointed Simon Steele and Neil Mitchell as fund managers, managing a combination of segregated and pooled equity mandates. Steele has been an investment director at CCLA since 2010 and has also held roles at Adam & Co. Mitchell also joins from CCLA, where he was most recently a global equity manager. He first worked with Steele at Adam & Co in 2008.
JP Morgan Asset Management
The asset management firm has appointed Diana Kiluta Amoa and Celina Apóstolo Merrill to its emerging markets debt team, within the global fixed income, currency and commodities group. Amoa joins as senior portfolio manager on the local currency emerging markets debt team from UBS, where she was responsible for the Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa rates trading business. Merrill joins as senior credit analyst within the corporate debt emerging markets team from Van Eck Global, where she was head of emerging market corporate credit.
ICBC Standard Bank
The bank has announced the appointments of Andy Highman as head of FIC sales corporates and banks and Edward de Waal as head of financial solutions. Highman joins from Winstone Private Capital , where he spent two years as a principal. He has also held senior positions at Barclays Capital. De Waal previously worked at Barclays Investment Bank, most recently as head of the corporate and counterparty risk structuring group.
Saga
Matt Atkinson has been appointed group chief marketing officer at the financial services group. He joins from Tesco, where he held the positions of chief digital officer, chief marketing officer, and most recently chief creative officer. Atkinson was also previously global chief executive of marketing services at Havas and has held managing director roles at Omnicom and Saatchi & Saatchi.
Fladgate
Taj Rehal has been appointed partner in the law firm’s employment practice. He joins from Howard Kennedy. Rehal particularly advises companies in the media, technology, financial and professional services sectors.
