Regis
The global property investor has appointed Syd Taylor as its UK-based chief financial officer. Taylor’s 25 years of experience include director level roles with Rockmount Capital, ING Real Estate, Goldman Sachs and Great Portland Estates.
Smith & Williamson
Peter Mitchell has joined the accountancy and investment management group as head of banking. Mitchell joins from CAF Bank, where he was chief executive officer. He takes over from Neil Cullum, who will retire at the end of this month.
Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management
Randy Brown has been appointed head of UK and global head of insurance and pension solutions. He previously served as co-chief investment officer. Prior to that, he was global head of Deutsche Insurance Asset Management.
Walker Crips
The integrated investment and wealth management group has appointed Steven Moss and Mark Entwistle as stockbrokers. Both join from Barclays Wealth.
Rigby Group
Edouard Carlone has been appointed head of M&A. Rigby is a parent company, comprising several privately owned businesses across Europe. It has recently acquired Norwich and Exeter airports. Carlone joins from UBS, where he has specialised in M&A for the past 14 years.
Downing
The venture capital firm has appointed Natasha Kuller and Ross Board to its renewable energy investment team. Board joins as investment associate from British Solar Renewables, and Kuller as portfolio executive from Linklaters.
DIAM
The UK arm of Asian asset manager DIAM Group has appointed Anthony Catachanas to its Europe, Middle East and Africa business development team. He joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was responsible for global banking relationships. He will be him based in London.
Ted Baker
The retailer has appointed Lindsay Page as chief operating officer. Page already holds the role of group finance director. Charles Anderson, current company secretary, has been appointed finance director of subsidiaries.
