The law firm has announced the appointment of David Broomhall as co-head of its antitrust, competition and trade practice. Broomhall has been a partner at the firm since 1998, and was competition practice group leader in Brussels for the past eight years.
City Financial
The fund management firm has hired Phillip Lee as a global fixed income manager. Lee has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, and specialises in fixed income markets and derivatives. He joins from Asset Risk Consultants, where he was an associate director.
EDM Group
The business services provider has recruited Richard Thompson as sales and marketing director. He was previously at Pitney Bowes Management Services, where he was vice president for sales and marketing.
BlueBay Asset Management
David Keel has been appointed sales director for Switzerland at the asset management firm. He was most recently at Lyxor, where he was head of institutional asset management sales for Switzerland.
Satis Asset Management
The asset management firm has hired two senior advisers. David Hearne has been appointed wealth management adviser, and was previously an independent financial adviser. Prior to that, he was commercial financial planning manager at HSBC. Matthew Edwards joins as a senior tax manager from Ernst & Young.
Bracewell & Giuliani
Jason Fox has joined the law firm as senior partner in its London office. Fox has over 25 years’ experience as an energy finance lawyer, and specialises in the upstream sector.
EC Harris
The built asset consultancy has announced the hire of Neil Page to its education team. Page spent the last five years as a project manager at the University of Edinburgh.
Walker Fraser Steele
Donald MacLellan has been appointed chairman at the chartered surveying firm. He has over 30 years’ experience in the Scottish property market.
