The pensions company has announced the appointment of Alan Godbeer as regional sales manager. He joins from Hornbuckle Mitchell, where he was a trustee consultant. Prior to that, Godbeer held various roles at Legal & General, Zurich Intermediary Group, and Scottish Equitable.
Smith & Williamson
The investment management and accountancy firm has recruited Michael Pagliari as an investment management partner. He was most recently at Morgan Stanley, where he was an executive director advising private clients.
Brady
Martin Thorneycroft has joined the risk management solutions firm as chief financial officer. He was formerly finance director at Patsystems.
Linklaters
Marc Harvey has been appointed regional managing partner for Asia at the law firm. He has been a partner at Linklaters since 2000.
Slater Investments
The investment management firm has recruited Nigel Milton as an equities analyst. He has over 20 years’ experience working in financial services. Milton was previously head of research at EGR Broking, and is a member of Lacomp’s investment advisory panel for EIS funds.
Aruba Networks
The network solutions company has announced the hire of Wolfram Fischer as vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He was formerly executive vice president for EMEA and Asia Pacific at Siemens Enterprise Communications.
Natixis
The asset management firm has made two hires to its Asia-Pacific office. Yuri Lin has been appointed managing director and head of sales. He has previously held various roles at BNP Paribas and Australia & New Zealand Banking Group. Daniel Yap joins as regional head of financial institutions and public sector coverage from Nomura.
OANDA Corporation
The foreign exchange services firm has appointed Edmond Eger as president and chief executive. He joins from PayPal, where he was senior vice president and general manager for the Americas.
