IFM Investors
The fund management firm has announced the appointment of John Carey as an investment director for European infrastructure debt in its debt investments team. He has over 13 years’ infrastructure experience and was most recently at Moody’s, where he was a senior analyst for infrastructure finance. Prior to that, he was a director in the infrastructure and project finance team at Barclays.
Moore Stephens
The consultancy firm has appointed Philip Bird to its corporate finance division. He has over 20 years’ corporate finance experience, advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and fundraising. Bird has previously held roles at Grant Thornton, RBS and Hawkpoint.
Peel Hunt
The broking and advisory house has made three appointments. Alex DeGroote joins as a media analyst from Panmure Gordon, and has also previously worked at Cheuvreux and Charterhouse. Gavin Jago joins as an equity analyst from Shore Capital Markets, where he was an analyst. Jeremy Stone joins the sales team from Oriel Securities.
Alvarez & Marsal
Kleon Phili has been appointed managing director at the professional services firm. He has over 25 years’ valuation experience and was formerly executive vice president and global segment leader for financial advisory at Duff & Phelps.
Collyer Bristow
The law firm has appointed James Badcock as head of its tax and estate planning team. He has been a partner at the firm since 2011.
Mizuho International
The securities and investment banking arm of the Mizuho Financial Group has hired Andrew Jarman as a managing director and head of high-beta credit trading. Jarman joins from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of European high yield trading for global credit.
BNY Mellon
Tony Brady has been appointed managing director and global head of BNY Mellon’s business strategy and market solutions group. He has been at the firm for over 30 years, most recently as chief administrative officer in its treasury services division.
