Baker Tilly
The professional services firm has appointed Suneel Gupta as partner in its South Asia advisory group, with a focus on the UK Asian business market and cross-border work between India and the UK. He was previously a partner at BDO, and qualified at PwC.
State Street Global Advisors
State Street’s asset management business has announced three research analyst appointments to its fundamental equity team. Robert Allen joins from International Investment and Underwriting, and has also held roles at Silicon and Software Systems. Eoin O Hogain joins from Centrica. He has also held roles at McKinsey and Morgan Stanley. James Savage joins from Depfa Bank, and has worked at KBC Bank and Fortis International Finance.
Allianz Global Investors
Daniel Lee has been appointed sales director at the investment manager. He joins from Cazenove Capital Management, where he was head of the UK discretionary sales team. Lee has over 17 years’ experience in retail and corporate sales.
Macquarie Capital
Macquarie’s corporate advisory and capital markets division has made two appointments to its oil and gas team. Jon Fitzpatrick joins as senior managing director, head of oil and gas for Europe, Middle East and Africa from Cenkos Securities. He has previously held roles at Brewin Dolphin Investment Banking. Ken Fleming joins as a managing director, also from Cenkos Securities.
BCS
The equities and derivatives trader has appointed Gareth Johnson as senior trader in its London office. He was most recently senior equity trader at Troika Dialog, and has also held roles at Alfa Bank and Uralsib Capital.
Saunderson House
Beverly Landais has been appointed marketing and business development director at the investment advisory firm. She joins from Devereux Chambers, the barristers set, where she has been chief executive for the last four years.
Field Fisher Waterhouse
The law firm has appointed Rhodri Pazzi-Axworthy as a partner in its real estate investment practice. He will join in January from Nabarro, where he has been a partner since 2006. Pazzi-Axworthy was also formerly a partner at Maxwell Batley, and was a senior associate at Freshfields between 1995 and 2002.
