Henderson
The asset management firm has announced the appointment of James de Bunsen as co-manager of its value trust division. He joined in January 2013 as manager of the Henderson Multi-Manager Absolute Return fund from Armstrong Investment Managers. De Bunsen also previously spent five years at Insight Investment, where he was part of its UK retail multi-asset fund team.
BNP Paribas Real Estate
The real estate investment manager has made two senior appointments to its London valuation team. Gillian Bowman joins as a senior director from Kames Capital, where she was a property investment fund manager. Robert Dagwell has been appointed director. He has over 35 years’ property experience, and joins from Sanderson Weatherall.
Markel
Gabrielle Folliard has been appointed as a claims manager at the insurance company. She was most recently at Beazley Group, where she was a claims manager for specialty lines. Before that, Folliard worked in the insurance and reinsurance group at CMS Cameron McKenna.
RPMI Railpen
The investment services firm has hired Richard Williams as chief investment risk officer. He has over 20 years’ experience in institutional investment. Williams was formerly chief investment officer at Fischer, Francis, Trees and Watts, and a partner at BlueCrest Capital Management.
Fox Williams
The City business law firm has appointed Aron Pope and Daniel Sutherland as partners. Pope specialises in high-value employment disputes. Sutherland specialises in advising professional partnerships.
Sheffield Haworth
Mike Hammond has been named chief executive at the executive search firm. He joined in 2013 as group managing director from UniCredit, where he was executive vice president, global co-head of markets, and global head of capital markets.
BJSS
The IT consultancy has appointed James Whitehouse to its board. He previously co-founded software engineering and technology firm Nammis.
