City duo launch new TV tipping show for traders
BORED of Bloomberg? Need more on top of CNBC? Two City executives are certainly hoping so, as today sees the launch of their internet TV programme TipTV.co.uk, which aims to “liven things up for home day traders.”
The two in question are ex-City PR turned sports spin doctor David Bick and former analyst (and Bloomberg regular) Nick “The Moose” Batsford.
Portmanteau-ed as “infotainment”, the show aims to bring tips on the financial trading and sports betting markets from City analysts in a quirky and entertaining way. It is presented by Nick Batsford and Jemma Keys (Richard Keys’ daughter), who will be looking after the sports side of things.
“We want to liven things up for home and day traders, it can be a lonely place when things are going badly so we’re trying to provide a bit of entertainment with a serious edge,” Batsford told The Capitalist.
Presumably, following the fracas which followed alleged sexist comments about a female referee made by Richard Keys which led to his resignation from Sky Sport, we can expect daughter Keys to be discreet if she ever needs to discuss the performance of female officials at football matches.
