Cavendish points boost in Giro
CYCLING: Britain’s Mark Cavendish edged closer to points jersey leader Matt Goss in the 10th stage of the Giro d’Italia. Spaniard Joaquim Rodriguez won the stage and took the overall lead from Ryder Hesjedal.
