    SWIMMING: Francesca Halsall sealed Britain’s third gold medal at the European Championships in Budapest after leading from the front in the women’s 100m freestyle final yesterday. Halsall, 20, held off tough competition from Belarusian Aliaksandra Herasimenia to win with a time of 53.58 seconds before Joe Roebuck secured bronze in the men’s 200m individual medley.
