Jeep’s new S-Limited model features a powerful audio system
Jeep has announced the launch of a new Grand Cherokee “Sports Line” version, the S-Limited. Powered by a 3.0-litre V6 CRD diesel engine, the S-Limited has muscular looks with a distinctive black grille, rear light bar and black gloss alloys. Inside, a 825-watt Harman-Kardon audio system – with 19 speakers and three sub-woofers – can pump out some powerful tunes. It goes on sale this month and costs £44,595.
The Rolls-Roys Phantom Coupé Aviator on display in London
Rolls-Royce has displayed its Phantom Coupé Aviator model for the first time in the UK. It was part of an opening event for its newly-refurbished London showroom in Berkeley Square. The car is inspired by the legendary Schneider Trophy-winning Supermarine S6B seaplane from the 1930s. Inside, the transmission tunnel is made of aluminium and there is an aviation-grade clock. Only 35 examples will be made.
Škoda’s Yeti heralded as the most reliable car on the market
Consumer magazine Which? has found the Škoda Yeti to be the most reliable car in the UK. In a survey of 47,000 owners, the petrol-powered Yeti model ranked first in the SUV/4×4 classes, with a 98 per cent reliability score, higher than any other class of car. Owners said they hadn’t suffered a single breakdown in the previous 12 months, with repair bills averaging just £6 a year.
