Capita chief executive steps down to pursue private equity portfolio
Capita chief executive Paul Pindar will step down, with effect from 28 February 2014. Mr Pindar, who has been with Capita for 26 years, is leaving to pursue a portfolio of private equity opportunities.

Capita's deputy chief executive and joint chief operating officer (COO), Andy Parker, will succeed Mr Pindar from 1 March 2014. Mr Parker will step down as COO on 1 January and will be replaced by Dawn Marriott-Sims, currently executive director of Capita's workplace services division.
The announcement came in tandem with the release of the company's Interim statement. The group reported a solid sales performance, with £2.9bn of new contract wins, this year to date. The company confirmed it was on track to deliver its target of eight per cent of organic growth for the entire year.
