Brit Awards 2016: Viagogo reports jump in demand for Adele and Rihanna tickets after Brits appearances
Hello. Rumour Has It Rihanna and Adele Run This Town, after ticket website Viagogo reported surges in demand for tickets to their shows following their appearances at last night's Brit Awards.
The company said it had experienced a 147 per cent spike in searches for tickets to Richanna's "Anti" tour overnight, while frenzied Adele fans created a 163 per cent surge in ticket demand.
And Justin Bieber's army of Beliebers could only push him to a distant third place, with a 93 per cent rise in searches for tickets to his shows – despite him winning the International Male Soloist gong.
Meanwhile, it doesn't bode particularly well for Best British Group winners Coldplay that demand for tickets to the band's Head Full of Dreams tour actually fell last night, compared with the number of searches in the past month.
Adele broke streaming records when she released Hello (not to be confused with Lionel Ritchie's song of the same name) last year after a long silence.
She was also the most-searched musician on Google last year, followed by Madonna and Rita Ora.
