John Lewis has finally revealed a handful of the many deals the retailer will be offering at this year’s Black Friday sale, just hours before the midnight kick-off as bargains go on sale online.
Many retailers have already begun revealing their offerings, but John Lewis has been very secretive about its bargains, keeping them hush-hush right up until the day itself. But with mere hours to go, some deals have been leaked.
Top deals from the retailer allegedly include a John Lewis' own brand washer dryer for £539, 10 per cent off the usual price, and an Amazon Fire HD tablet for £129.95.
Other John Lewis deals reportedly include a C3 vacuum cleaner from Miele for £229.99 and a Pure Evoke D2 digital radio for £149.95.
It will be selling HD Sony smart 55" 3D TVs for £799, a saving of £100, and own brand 60" HD 3D smart TVs for £999, a £400 discount.
The retailer will also be offering Morris & Co rugs with 20 per cent off, from £224, Jasper Conran for Wedgewood tableware with 20 per cent off, with prices starting as low as £18, and Vera Wang tableware with 20 per cent off.
There's 50 per cent off a Tefal 10-piece pan set, at £110, three Jamie Oliver saucepans for £91, and a Le Creuset set of three pans for £215, a 20 pe cent saving.
Offers also extend to dining table set with four chairs at £129.99 from £399.99, and sofa beds for £99, from £300.
The hundreds of other deals from the retailer won’t be revealed until midnight, but they’ve promised to deliver.
Managing director Andy Street has said that this year’s bargains will be “bigger and better” than ever before – and is pushing to make sure John Lewis “wins” Christmas, for the seventh year running.
Of course, beating last year’s record-smashing figures won’t come easy for the department store. If it wants to beat its own personal best, this is what it’s up against.
